Hi everyone,

Last month, at 15 weeks, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy... his heart suddenly stopped beating, and my world stopped turning from that moment on. The pregnancy was unexpected. We already had 3 lovely kids, and oh, how happy I was with this 4th little miracle. My husband and family were happy too. Unfortunately, we lost our baby boy, and now I really, really want to be a mom one more time, but my husband just says no, I don't have the desire for children anymore. He's not open to talking about it. I find this terrible! If nature hadn't been so harsh, I would have been a mom again in a few months, and now... now my husband doesn't even want to think about it.

What should I do with this? How do you deal with the fact that your husband doesn't want a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or... more kids? I'm so incredibly unhappy...

So sad that you've lost your baby. I can totally understand how the unexpected pregnancy might have sparked a desire in you. On the other hand, I can also imagine that it's stirred up fear in your husband. Maybe he's still grieving, maybe he's scared, or maybe he'd rather focus on the kids you already have? Have you asked him how he's feeling? I don't know how it is... My husband always wanted children, and I didn't. I had all the time I needed, and we didn't have a thousand conversations... The desire just came naturally. I wish you both lots of strength

    First of all, I checked.

You mentioned it was a month ago. Give your husband time to grieve. Give yourself time to grieve. To un-pregnant. To give it a place. You're still full of hormones right now.

    Just give it some time.
