Symptoms for NOD

Hi everyone,
I'm in round 3 of trying to get pregnant. On May 2nd I had a positive ovulation test. I'm now 4 to 5 days before my expected period. I'm experiencing all kinds of symptoms, and my body feels like it's playing tricks on me. What symptoms did you all have before your period, before you knew you were pregnant?
Love, sunshine!

    I'm feeling all sorts of things right now... so much that I don't know what's real and what isn't. Headache, tired!!! Menstrual-like stomach pain, no sore breasts (which is unusual), food cravings!!

    @Saar91 so true! I sometimes feel like my body is playing tricks on me! I have sore breasts, suddenly no longer craving bread when I normally always eat 6 rolls in a day. Feeling nauseous at times. Throughout the day, sharp stabs near my left ovary/groin. And really struggling with mood swings; my boyfriend sometimes gets the wind knocked out of him hehe

    @saar91 when can you test?
  8. Saar91 #9

    Tested today... But I'm not really sure. There's a faint line visible, but I don't know if it's okay. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow morning... Don't know yet.

    Thank you!!!! I feel the same for you!

    @Saar91 ahh so sweet, thank you!! I'll test again on Saturday or Sunday. I tested with a Kruidvat Plus test yesterday, but those often give false positives, and there was also a faint line showing up...

    @Wondertje3 Exciting! I've been here for about 3 days for NOD.

    I always had all the symptoms for my period, but then I got my period...
    When I found out I was pregnant, I had very painful breasts starting from my ovulation (which I normally only got a few days before my period), and I even thought I smelled different under there xD but yeah, I thought it might just be a yeast infection at the time. I also had those real period cramps.

    @Lieve your body can indeed play tricks on you! I've been tracking my symptoms for 3 days now and paying close attention, maybe because I really want a second child and had a miscarriage in February at 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten pregnant again since then. And every month when I have symptoms and then test, and it's another negative, my spirits sink! So we'll see.

    Sunshine. So relatable... Hugs!!!

    @Saar91 that's so frustrating, it just makes you feel hopeless! And then you see other people who get pregnant right away, and my jealousy goes through the roof! Especially in my circle, everyone is pregnant and only takes 1 or 2 tries. It makes you sad, like you're not doing anything right!
  18. Saar91 #19

    So true, unfortunately. No matter how much you want the best for someone else... I just can't be happy for them anymore.

    @Saar91 that's exactly it!! I feel exactly the same! I have a very irregular cycle, so this month I used ovulation tests for the first time—I'd never used them before. I thought, maybe if I do this, it'll work... but well, we'll have to see. I feel like if this doesn't work, it'll never happen again! But we have to stay positive, no matter how hard that is!
