Hi everyone,
I had a miscarriage in February and wasn't allowed to get pregnant again until now. We're on our third round. This morning I did a Clearblue Early Plus test, 4 to 5 days before my expected period, and it looks like there's a faint line. I've heard these tests can often give false positives though. Would you mind taking a look with me?

    @zonnetje that's intense, what week were you at with your miscarriage? What you're saying is often a false positive with those faint test lines. I'd go to Action

    Hi, it varies a lot. With me, these tests were accurate. If you want to be sure, I'd go for the Kruidvat ones, 2 for 5 euros. And use morning urine. If you see even the faintest line, you know it's correct

    @Elvira I had a really early miscarriage at 4 weeks. So luckily I never saw a heartbeat. But still, you feel like a mother right away. I took it really hard, and my partner did too. Luckily, I already have a lovely 2-year-old daughter. But we’d really like a brother or sister for her. I still have one test from Action at home; I think I’ll take it Saturday or Sunday, so I’d be 1 or 2 days before my period. But I just felt different than usual, so I tested early.

    @Mamavan2meiden I think I'll still manage to get the Kruidvat test next week. I had one for my first pregnancy with my daughter too! I still had it lying around. I really don't understand why they still sell these tests when they often give false positives. Then people often don't know much yet.

    @zonnetje a miscarriage is tough no matter if it's at 4 or 11 weeks, you've still lost something

    That's right, a miscarriage is really hard. No matter how many weeks. I had one a month before this pregnancy at 4.5 weeks. And it hit me harder than I thought it would. When I found out I was pregnant again right away, I found that really scary. Now I'm 22 weeks and still get scared sometimes.
    Hopefully, you'll see a nice line appear on your 2w5 test too

    It's mainly known that the earlier you test, the less accurate the test is... but I completely understand that you want to know as soon as possible. As for Kruidvat, I've always heard and read very positive things about them. I've used theirs too and they were accurate.

    I'd say positive if it's taken within the right time frame.

    For me, this is positive! They certainly weren't as intense back then.
