Tummy ache

Hi!
My partner and I recently decided to try for a second baby.
We'd like to be pregnant this summer, and from my experience, I tend to conceive quickly.
I stopped the pill 2 weeks ago to give my body some time to adjust.
So we're being careful now to avoid penetration around ovulation.
According to my app, I should be ovulating today (I have a regular cycle).
However, I've had pain in my lower abdomen for 4 days now, around my intestines/ovaries. It's often sharp stabs, on both sides, sometimes on both sides at the same time.
I even had to take painkillers because it really hurt.
Now I'm wondering if this could still be related to my ovulation? Normally I never feel my ovulation, so I don't know what it feels like.
It's been 4 days already, and according to my research, ovulation pain should only last about 24 hours...
Can anyone help me? Does anyone else experience this kind of discomfort when first stopping the pill?

Hi, I didn't feel anything while taking the pill, and after I stopped, I always had severe abdominal pain for 3-4 days around my ovulation. As soon as my egg was ovulated, the pain quickly subsided. Some people feel their ovulation, others don't—it really varies a lot from person to person.

I never felt anything while on the pill, but now I feel it every month—I think it’s ovulation. It could be that you’re ovulating. If you get your period around day 14, then you’ll know for sure.
