Ovulation with Clomid always on the same day

Hi everyone, new on this forum and have a question.
I'm on my 2nd round of Clomid 100mg.
In the first round, I went back several times for follicle scans and my egg was released on day 18 (exactly 14 days later my period).
In the 2nd round, I didn't get any ultrasounds anymore and already had a positive ovulation test on day 9.
I called my gynecologist about this, but all she said was to keep trying for a few more days.
Now I did an ovulation test early in the evening and it was positive again on day 24, but also really darker than the control line, whereas between day 9 and 24 it had a color but should have been considered negative.
Who has experience with a difference in ovulation days during Clomid?
So I don't know when I really need to have sex, given my previous cycle and the varying positive tests.

I don't have any experience with it (yet). If this round doesn't work out for us, we can also start with Clomid. I really wish you lots of success and baby dust! -

Hi Noa,
We're doing our 2nd IUI round and I took Clomid too. Both times I ovulated on the same day (yesterday we had our insemination).
I had my follicle scans on day 10 or 11 of my cycle, and was inseminated on day 13 both times. We have to test in 2 weeks.
(May I ask how you react to Clomid yourself, do you notice a lot of side effects?)
