Hi ladies.
My husband had his sperm checked a while back since we’ve been trying to get pregnant for over a year.
My tests (ultrasound and blood work) came back normal.
Here are his results:
pH 7.9
Volume 3.0
Sperm concentration 36
Ejaculate cells 108
Vitality: 46% (low)
Motility PR 3% (very low)
Motility NP 9% (low)
Motility M 88%
Total motility 12% (low)
VCM 3.2
Normal morphology 1% (low)
Morphology 1% (low)
Abnormal morphology 1.73% (high)
Additional note: asthenoteratozoospermia
I’m also a bit overweight; my BMI is 36. I’m currently losing weight, about 500-800 grams per week through a low-carb diet, workouts, and walking.
We’re both 30 and 33 years old.
What do you think they’ll recommend?
There are minimum values listed with the results, and we’re both quite shocked by them, especially my husband.
