Name for our first baby

Hi everyone!
We're expecting our first baby in November
We already have a girl's name picked out, but for a boy it's a bit harder..
On our list are these names:
Liyon (Liejon), Lío, Cody, and Phelan (FEE-lan)
As you can see, we want a name that isn't very common in the Netherlands, but is still easy to pronounce
The first name has to fit with the last name.. Nox Rafi Jonkers

Can you help us out? And maybe you have some other beautiful (rare) uncommon names to share!

I like Liyon, just not the spelling. I'd go for Lyon.
    I also like Lio.
Phelan sounds a bit feminine to me.
To be honest, I don't like Cody as much.

    I really like Cody
  5. Debbie Guest #6

I didn't know Phelan, so I just did a quick Google search. Turns out Phelan is a syndrome. Maybe not so suitable.
Faelan might be an option, it's an Irish boy's name and it means young wolf.

    Thanks ladies!

November 2021 baby, we think Zion is the prettiest from your list! Thanks
Lou, from your list, 2 names really appeal to us.. Lux and Phyllon.. With Jagger it reminds us of Moves like Jagger
Debbie, thank you! Yes, we saw that they write his name in 3 ways Phelan, Faelan and Faolan. Of those, Phelan appealed to us the most. But thank you.. maybe we'll keep looking

Of all the names on your list, I think Lio is the prettiest.
Names ending in -n feel a bit like a tongue twister to me, especially with Nox.

    Maybe also consider:
Abel, Axel, Azar, Benja, Ceder, Elio, Esper, Faber, Hessel, Idris, Ivo, Jaro, Jonah, Juda, Lano, Lias, Manu, Milas, Mirza, Nasro, Nilo, Otis, Sebas, Silas, Teije, Thias, Tias, Xavi, Xeno, Zias, Zeger, Zeno
  8. Jordan #9

    Cody Nox Rafi Jonkers
  9. Nadia #10

Zion does sound strong indeed. Lux has a really nice sound, but it also passes by pretty quickly. I think Phelan is a beautiful, soft variant. If you already have a favorite, maybe it's not necessary to consider a hundred more names anymore. Sometimes it just helps to make a choice and see how it feels when you say it out loud.
