Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
when to test?
Jasmien
Hi everyone,
I’d love your advice on the following:
My partner and I have been trying for our first baby for 6 months now. I pretty much had a regular cycle of about 29 days right away. I always get a couple of days of light brown spotting before my period really starts (so around day 27 or 28 of the cycle).
However, this cycle I had light pink spotting on day 21. That only happened once. But then on day 24 and 25, I had light brown spotting again. I was convinced my period was coming. But this spotting stopped since Wednesday morning. I’m of course hoping this was implantation bleeding.
I can also mention that I went to the gynecologist on April 6th (which was about day 11 of the cycle), and she told me my follicle was about 14 mm at that time. So I suspect I ovulated around the end of that week.
I’m now on day 28 of the cycle and haven’t had any bleeding yet. Should I try a pregnancy test now, or is this too early?
