Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
How long does a positive test stay positive after an early miscarriage?
AliciaGuest ·
Hi everyone,
I have a question for those who have had an early miscarriage, so around 4/5 weeks of pregnancy.
How did your miscarriage go for you, heavy bleeding and/or cramps? And how long did you still test positive after the miscarriage? And did you have a clear test from the beginning?
I found out on April 1st that I was pregnant. I had light pink spotting and tested then. It was faint but clearly positive. Tests remained faint in the following days and the pink spotting turned into bright red after 5 days, but very little, only when wiping. I didn't have any cramps. Last week I had an internal ultrasound and nothing was visible anymore. But I'm still testing faintly positive now, 2 weeks after the possible miscarriage. So I've had the same faint but clear positive line for 3 weeks now. I never had a clear test, so I wonder if it's normal that the tests stay positive for so long.
I'd love to hear your experiences.
Love xx
