Boysmom
Hi everyone,
My husband and I are expecting our second little boy this summer. With our first son, we knew right away that he would be called Lenn. Unfortunately, it's not quite as straightforward for our second son. My husband is quite picky.
Could you maybe help us get some inspiration? We're looking in the same direction—short, strong, and modern.
Fingers crossed!!

There are a few contenders. Max was already on our list, but I was a bit hesitant. I also considered: Miel, Juul, Bill, Jack, Tuur, Vic, ... but my husband likes them less. What do you all think of these names?

Miel, I don't think much of (think of the washing machine) I'd go for Giel.
Juul I really think is a girl's name, short for Julia.
Bill in the Netherlands isn't really my thing, given the bullying factor.
    Jack is nice and cool!
Tuur is a bit less, but that's because I don't like names that are verbs (I stare, he stares, we stare).
Vic I also find nice and cool. A bit more unique than Jack but both are beautiful!

    In your list, names like:
Mick, Vince, Cas, Lev, Kai, Sil, Jorn, Syb or Sieb, Scott might fit.
And now I think I really don't have any names left. Let us know when you've decided? I'm really curious what it's going to be.

I know two brothers: Sepp and Lenn.
Besides that, I think Lenn and Dean or Lenn and Moos are really nice.

    And maybe also:
Abel, Aron, Bram, Brent, Faas, Finn, Guus, Jace, Jack, Jake, Jens, Joep, Koen, Mart, Mats, Mees, Mick, Miles, Noud, Otis, Quin, Quint, Raff, Ravi, Rens, Revi, Rick, Roan, Sieb, Siem, Thom, Ties, Twan, Vigo, Wolf, Wout, Zain

    Hi everyone,

A while ago I asked for your opinion on a boy's name. We were initially leaning towards 'Lias', but my partner didn't really like how it sounded. Now we're deciding between 'Miel' and 'Mil'. I think Miel is more beautiful, but my partner prefers Mil. What do you all think?
  10. Lou Guest #11

I think Miel is nicer too! Beautiful name!

I personally think Lenn and Levi sound nice.

Between Miel and Mil, I'd choose Miel. But that's also because I see Mil more as a short form of a female name. Our old neighbor was called Miel. Short for Emiel.

    Hi everyone,
Just letting you know that our little boy will be called ‘Miel’. His due date is September 26th. We’re counting down the days! Xxx
