We're hesitating because our niece has Noor as her middle name...

    But I wouldn't choose Noor either.
    I'd keep looking, I think.

    Both are lovely! I think Noortje Loïs sounds better than Noor Loïs, but Noor is a nicer name! How about Nore, Noree, or Nora(h) as an option? (Although I already think Noor is really nice)

    Officially, I'd definitely go with Noor. Noortje can still be a nickname when she's little (less so when she's an adult). Also nice: Nore?

    I really don't think Noortje works. It's not a name for an adult.
    Is Noor a namesake? I understand you're hesitating if your niece has this name as a second name.
