Millie and Pimme?

Hi! We already have a daughter, Millie (Millie Mathilde), and now we’re having another girl! What do you think of the name Pimme (pronounced Pim-muh, so just as you write it). We love how well it fits with Millie, but we’re a bit worried that many people might not find Pimme a beautiful name... We’d love to hear your thoughts, honesty is appreciated. Other ideas that go well with Millie are also welcome! Thanks a lot, Lara and Jop!

    My first reaction was: Pimme?
But if Pim can, Pomme can, why not Pimme? I also thought: don't react right away. Sometimes a name needs time to get used to.
Now at the end of the day: I actually haven't found anything why you shouldn't. No weird associations or anything.
I guess I just need to get used to it.

I have to be the first to think of a boy's name, but it's a bit of an adjustment to get used to the name, as Debbie said.
And then I think, why not?? No weird associations, just getting used to it.
And what does it matter if other people don't find it beautiful... it's about what you two think is beautiful. Greetings

If you think it's nice and it fits your baby, why not?

I never really thought about what others would think of the name. Everyone has their own taste, luckily. I mainly looked at whether the name would still be suitable when they're adults. And not the initials, like getting W.C. or something.

Pimme.. I guess I'm more thinking of a boy. I'm not sure how I feel about it, honestly. I don't think it's that nice.
And maybe kids will quickly say pimmel and then piemel. But that's just my thought on it.

Yeah, if you want, you can come up with something for every name. But that association definitely didn't come to mind for me.

I don't think it's bad! It's a name you have to get used to, but definitely not ugly!
Millie and Pip(pa) are also good options for me, maybe a bit more feminine!

Hmm, I don't think I can really get used to Pimme.
