Implantation or period?
MLGuest ·
Hi everyone!
On February 10th, I had a miscarriage due to a blighted ovum (empty sac). On February 24th, it turned out I wasn't completely clear, but the gynecologist said it would come out with my next period. Eventually, on March 1st, I had a D&C due to heavy bleeding.
Now I'm waiting for my new cycle. However, for the past 2 weeks I've had a gurgling stomach and the feeling that my period is about to start. On March 25th, very light pink spotting. On the morning of March 26th, some bright red blood when wiping, but nothing since then? My breasts have also been tender since this morning, and I feel nauseous.
Somewhere I think my body is playing tricks on me and I'll get my period after a few days anyway. My cycle before the miscarriage was between 31 and 35 days. Because I didn't get a clear answer on which day to start counting for a new cycle, since I also didn't know if my body would pick up the rhythm again, I don't know if the bleeding could be implantation bleeding?
By the way, I clearly felt that something was going on in my ovaries and uterus last week. Those cramps had disappeared around March 22nd, and I sometimes have cramps in my uterus now. Hence the idea that my period is coming.
In my opinion, it's too early to test anyway. What do you think? Could it be implantation, and when do you recommend testing?
