First round with Utrogestan, pink discharge
AriaGuest ·
Hi ladies,
I'm in my 8th cycle and it's the first one with Utrogestan (due to a previous early miscarriage, light bleeding more than a week before my expected period, and a fairly short luteal phase).
Everything I thought I had learned about my body in the past months seems to no longer make sense with the Utrogestan, and it's driving me crazy.
Could someone take a look?
Over the last few months, my luteal phase was about 12 days with ovulation around day 16-17.
This cycle, I suddenly got a positive ovulation test on the evening of day 11 (March 9) and it stayed positive on day 12 (March 10). I kept testing and the line faded clearly afterwards. I've never had a positive OPK this early! So the estimated ovulation day is March 11.
As prescribed by my gynecologist, I started the first Utrogestan pill on the evening of March 11 (3x1 per day).
On March 18, I had clearly tense and sore breasts (something I normally never have), and the next day it was gone.
Since March 20, I've had a bloated belly and a vague pain in my lower abdomen.
On March 22, I had a few mini red streaks in the white discharge from the Utrogestan.
Yesterday, March 23, I suddenly got quite a bit of pink discharge in the afternoon, a bit on my panty liner, and when wiping, there was actually quite a bit. Shortly after, I clearly got period-like cramps and thought, okay, story over, my period will probably start tomorrow.
Since then, however, I haven't had any more bleeding.
I've been testing with sensitive pregnancy tests for 3 days, but they remain blank for now. Today was 13 dpo and after testing this morning, my heart really sank. I was planning to stop the Utrogestan, but then I read all sorts of opinions and experiences online and I'm completely doubting again.
What do you think? Is all hope lost and should I stop tomorrow, or should I stick with Utrogestan until my normal expected period at 28 days? That would be Saturday, March 27. Because of my early positive ovulation test and that pink discharge, I really don't know what or how anymore.
Thanks in advance!
