Early pregnancy test

Hihi ladies,
Help me out!
I know it might be a bit early, but my period is due in about 11 days, and I took a pregnancy test today which came back negative. Am I testing too early, or is it just not this month? I've had cramps and lower back pain for 1-2 days after my ovulation.

    That's really early. I'd wait a bit longer before testing.

    I'd wait until your due date to test, that's more pleasant. It doesn't really make sense otherwise. Good luck!

    @chahida, you're only at 3dpd right now. Implantation happens after 5dpd, and then your body needs to start producing hCG. I'd really suggest waiting until 12dpd.

    @chahida you can also save that money for a possible little one, it costs more than you think but I totally get it, when you have a desire for a child, patience is key

    Hihi. Yeah, I was thinking something like that too. That's still too early. But since today I've suddenly had real cramps and a period-like feeling, like I could get my period any moment. The pains are mainly in my groin, you know. Waiting is so hard. Yeah, I'll just wait until April 1st, then I should get my period again.

    @chahida implantation only happens from 5dpo onwards; before that, it's really just symptoms of ovulation

    I had my ovulation on March 14th. I used digital ovulation tests. And on March 14th, it showed the LH peak, so to speak. I'm curious.

    @chahida if you got a positive ovulation test on March 14th, then March 15th was your ovulation day, and March 29th is your expected period. So today you're at 8dpo, 6 days before your period. Kruidvat early tests can show a line from 6 days before your period.

    Yeah, that would indeed make sense. March 14th at 12:00 PM was the LH peak. Tested the next day in the evening and got a blank circle. Hehe. Yeah, my neck is really hurting, scared I might have been too early again, hehe.

    This is our first round. We already have 3 kids. All 3 succeeded on the first try. Hihi. So now I'm really nervous.

    Yeah, that's right, we've always used ovulation tests and always know exactly when I ovulate. Hihi. And it's really just pure luck, indeed ????????

    Ahhhg that's quite a while. Hope for a positive test soon. Do you already have kids yourself?
    Do you feel anything in yourself yet?

    @chahida a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son, both took longer to conceive but were spontaneous pregnancies I'm feeling all sorts of things, but I've been feeling all sorts of things for the past few months too, so it could just be my body playing tricks on me
