Good evening!

We're torn between the names Julie (Zhu-lee) and Jula (Dzhoo-lah).

What do you think?

Best, Ellemieke

Julie! Sweet, it's also on our list.
I think Jula is more of a modern name, Julie is more timeless, a classic, with a cheerful sound.

I think Julie is nicer, a beautiful name. Jula isn't bad, but I find the pronunciation less appealing. I'd pronounce Jula as Juu-laa or Joe-laa, not with a 'dj' sound.

I like Jula, but especially with the pronunciation Juu-laa and not Djuu-laa.
Then I'd go for Julie. Although I would pronounce that as Dju-lie.
    Tough choice!

I find Juu-la more appealing, so I'll go with your spelling: Julie.

I really like Jula with the pronunciation Juu-laa! Not so much with the DJ sound. So I think I'll go with Julie then. But I find Jula more appealing.

    Julie! Beautiful, timeless, elegant name.
I think Jula is really an ugly hipster name. For me, it feels like a letter is missing. I do think Julia is beautiful.
