Evaporation line or positive?

Hi ladies!

I had a question because I don't want to celebrate too early, as I was expecting my period on February 14th, but it hasn't arrived yet. Today, I had a sudden urge and thought, why not take a test?

After taking the test, I went to change clothes, and when I looked at the clock, I realized about 10 minutes had passed.

Now I looked at the test, and it showed a positive result. However, my question is, it's recommended to read the result after 5 minutes, but I checked after about 10 minutes.

I've never had an evaporation line or anything like that before when I took tests. So, is this a positive test or an evaporation line?

    Seems pretty clear to me, right?

    You're overdue and you got a line on the test! I wouldn't take that post-expiry result too seriously.

    It's clearly positive and 10 minutes isn't a big deal, it can take up to half an hour. You're totally pregnant, congratulations!

    Hey girls!

    I took another test this morning with first morning urine (by the way, yesterday's was in the afternoon). This one is also strongly negative, no evaporation line or whatever to be seen... I ordered new ones from a different brand because I forgot which one it was... Anyone else have more experience with this?

    Was the test the same brand as the one you did this morning?
    Go straight to the pharmacy and get a digital Clearblue. Done with staring at those lines..

    Yeah, it's the same brand, from Kruidvat, 2 for 5 euros..
    Yes, I ordered the digital one, so it'll arrive tomorrow!
    We've been trying for 2 years and this was the first time a test actually showed a double line..
    But anyway, let's wait and see..

    I had that in December. Also the kv 2v5 thick line, the next day absolutely nothing anymore.. I still wonder to this day if I was pregnant and had a miscarriage or just nothing. I did get pregnant in the round after.

    I had that in June too, one day clearly a second line, the next day nothing more

    Try testing again in a few days and read the result within the specified time. At Kruidvat, never interpret a faint line as positive if you're not pregnant, and definitely not a pink line...

    Wow, that's wild. And really strange.
    Morning urine doesn't necessarily have to be better. I find tests later in the day clearer than in the morning.

    Got a light pink discharge today, so I think that was a false positive... unfortunately?
