Benthe or Vera

Benthe is unique and meaningful. But it might sound a bit rustic and could be teased with wordplay like: "ben te dik" (I'm too fat) or "ben te vreden" (I'm too content).

Vera is a nice name but more standard. Safe, but I'm less enthusiastic about it.

    I find Vera a bit rigid. It doesn't radiate much warmth to me.
    Benthe is a beautiful name.

    I think Benthe is prettier (although I mostly know him as Bente, without the h) than Vera. So I'd go for that. Kids can tease anyone with any name (Vera --> as light as a feather) and it's nice if it's a namesake, I think! By the way, I also think Veerle is an option for you guys!
