Pregnant?

Good morning!
We really want a baby and feel ready for it to be our first.
I do have a few questions though, as I don’t know too much about this. I read a lot online, but I don’t always figure things out.
Stopped the pill on January 20th.
Two days later, I had quite a heavy period.
I also read that it could be withdrawal bleeding, but it felt like a real period—I even had a lot of stomach pain.
I was on my period for 5 days.
On February 2nd, I got a positive ovulation test, and again on February 3rd.
When could I possibly get pregnant?
Unfortunately, I don’t know my cycle because I used to take the pill regularly and would stop for a few days every month, I think.

Hi! Exciting, right... if you're going for it!
I'm no expert, but here's what I know...

First off, you might have irregular periods for the first few months. Doesn't have to be... but it could. Stopping the pill can mess with your hormones a bit.
Second... if you find your ovulation... and you have a regular cycle (which you don't know yet), you add the number of days it takes until your period starts.
    On average, that's 14 days. So... Feb 3 + 14 = you'd get your period on Feb 17.
I'd advise not testing too soon in the first few months after stopping the pill. Because if your cycle is irregular, you might end up testing 5 times a month... driving yourself crazy... and it costs money too.
But... I understand it's exciting and you want to know. Testing too early definitely doesn't help.
My advice would be... wait until the day you'd expect your period... so now, wait until after Feb 17 (that's called your ANP, your "not-period" day)... and wait as long as possible... e.g., until Feb 20.

And then test in the morning, with your first urine... it's the strongest.
Good luck... and especially lots of patience!

There are groups here every month... so ANP February.... for everyone who'd rather not have their period in February but wants to be pregnant... and feel free to ask your questions there. Everyone will want to help you. Good luck!

Thank you! Waiting is indeed tough.
I’m going to test on Sunday, then I’ll think.
    I have a Kruidvat test
    And a Sensitest early test
The chance is probably small for the first round, but who knows.

Thank you for that group, I’ll take a look there.
