Hi everyone,
We're having a little girl! Michelle is on our list. To us, it feels like it fits in the same category as Julia and Lauren, but it's just so rare. And because it's so uncommon, we're second-guessing ourselves... what are we missing? Is it too 80s/90s?
So my question: what associations do you have with the name Michelle?

I think Michelle is a nice name, but not in the same category as Lauren or Julia. More like Naomi, Aimy, or Loïs, or (if pronounced French) in the category of Margot, Frederique, Julie. -

I do find Michelle a bit too 80s/90s.
And it doesn't really fit that well with Julia and Lauren either.
But if you think it's beautiful, just go for it! -

Michelle comes up a lot among disadvantaged people.
I think he has a high "tokkie" vibe. -
