Hi,
I'm torn about a boy's name.
What do you think of the name Cyril?
I'm looking for a mix of classic with a slightly old-fashioned touch. And a name that's not very common, but people have still heard of it before.

    Not really my thing, but it does meet all the criteria.
    It's classic, a bit old-fashioned, and you don't hear it that often, so in that regard, it's a suitable name.

    Not bad, and as Debbie says, it meets all your criteria. I'd say it's in the category of Emile/Cédric/Rodin/etc.

    I find the name very feminine. Nothing wrong with that, but for me, it's not a strong name because of that.
    The other names mentioned meet your requirements and are much nicer!
    (Emile, Cédric, Kamiel, Leon)
    Otherwise: Gideon, Calvijn, Valentijn, Simeon)
