Baby wish
Period is late, not pregnant but want a baby
AnoniemGuest ·
Hi ladies,
I stopped the pill in April 2020. After a few months of fairly regular periods (26-34 days), I haven't had my period since early October.
I went to the GP in early December and got some blood tests done. Unfortunately, nothing came up. He told me it can take up to two years for your period to return to normal after stopping the pill. I'm not allowed to come back until it's been six months, so in April.
I'm starting to get worried now, as I really want a baby. I'm turning 30 this year, so the GP didn't think premature menopause was likely. It's also not in the family.
The waiting is so long, and without a period, it feels very uncertain. Hopefully, it'll start up again soon...
Are there other ladies with similar experiences, and what was the outcome for you in the end?
