Help, we're looking for a girl's name. Our other boys are named Job and Luuk. And now I haven't found a single girl's name that I feel fits with them. Any suggestions??

Do you want one syllable or multiple?

I’d think of Noor or Saar first!
Don’t know if it’s your taste.
Personally, I like that it’s again a one-syllable name, just like the boys. But that’s not necessary, of course.

Job, Luuk, and Cato or Tess!

    And then:
Anna, Britt, Eef, Elin, Ella, Eva, Febe, Fee, Fien, Fleur, Flore, Gwen, Isa, Ise, Kim, Mare, Maud, Noor, Pien, Pip, Puck, Roos, Rosa, Rox, Saar, Suus, Tara, Tessa, Vera

It's so nice to see these responses. I'm currently debating between 1 or 2 syllables. The ones that stand out to me are:
Saar, mare or mara?, tess, ise/isa
    What's your preference?

I think Tess looks really nice with it.

I immediately thought of Tess, but I also think the other options are really nice, Anon! Mare definitely fits well too. I think Saar also works well.

    Other ideas:
    Job, Luuk and ...
Tessa Sara(h) Suze Wies Fiene Noor Nora Noortje Iris Roos Emma Pien Sanne Fem Floor Flore Suus Soof Sofie Kaat Pleun Keet Kaatje Sien Elin Mila Evie Evie Eva Ava Ella Merle Mirle Nova Nine Niene Nina Maud Julie

The best combinations from the names above are:
    Job, Luuk and Roos
    Job, Luuk and Merle
    Job, Luuk and Niene
    Job, Luuk and Maud

    Mara or Isa is beautiful!

    Saar or Tess.
I personally don't think Mare is a good name. People around here say "i.p.v." instead of "mare."

Of all the names on your list, I think Tess is the cutest!
But honestly, they all work really well.
  12. Anoniem Guest #13

The more often I see Tess come by, the more I like the name.

However, the last name starts with: te bie.. so then you get tess te b..

    Is it disturbing or not?

    I'm saying Floor,
Our daughter is named Floor... and if a little brother comes along, it'll be Luuk . Good luck with choosing!

I don't find the double t bothersome, but it's a shame that the first name and the particle together sound like "testen" (to test). Other options might therefore be Tesse, Tessel, or Tessa? It's a really nice name, Tess, you're totally right about that.
