Positive pregnancy test, but no symptoms at all

Hi ladies,
I just had a positive pregnancy test in my hands. I still can't believe it, because I don't have any symptoms at all; no tender breasts, no nausea, no pain... I should be getting my period today and I even have some brown discharge, so I'm a bit worried. Should I go to the GP as soon as possible?

Not every woman has the same amount of symptoms during pregnancy (and not as quickly either). A positive pregnancy test says more than the symptoms, so congratulations!

Brown discharge can actually be a sign of implantation at the beginning of pregnancy, about 10-14 days after conception.

If you're unsure, you can always do another urine test a few days later or make an appointment with your GP for a blood test.
