help with a boy's name!

We're really struggling to decide between two names for our second son.
Our oldest son is named Louis, and now we're torn between Stan and Bernard.
Can anyone help us?
We just can't seem to make up our minds.

    I find Bernard so old-fashioned! Definitely not my taste, sorry!

    Bernard fits much better with Louis, both in terms of name origin and number of syllables. Nice!

    Stan, normally I really like it when both names have the same number of syllables..
    But I just don't find Bernard beautiful and Stan does.

    I’m normally all for the same number of syllables. But honestly, I don’t think Bernard sounds so great with Louis. Louis feels like a smooth, strong name to me, while Bernard does seem a bit old-fashioned and student-like. That’s why I’d go with Stan.
