Mommy32
Yesterday I took this test and within the time frame I saw this. I’m hoping a little bit and will take another test on Tuesday, hoping that it will have risen by then.

Have a nice evening.

    I do see a faint line, but I’ve read a lot of false positive stories about the plus-sign tests. When was your period due? I’d try the Kruidvat 2v5, I find that one pretty clear.

    Yeah, honestly that's kind of the problem. I have irregular periods, so I'm not really sure... (unfortunately)

    Last week I took this test and didn't see anything, but now I took it again and saw this.
    I think I'll wait 2 days and then hope it gets clearer.

    Hi, should this be a second line or a plus sign? If it's supposed to be a line, I definitely see it! Did you take another test this morning?

    These plus and line tests from Kruidvat are more often false positives than true positives, unfortunately. So I'd go for a different test just to be sure. For example, the one from Kruidvat, but then 2 for 5. You can also test for any potential overflow.. good luck!

    This test should show 2 lines ????????????????

    @orchidea
    Yes, I think I'll do it tomorrow morning. I'm a bit hesitant, but the day before I did this and then I didn't get a line.

    Which one did you do when it was negative? This test or the 2/5?
  9. Mommy32 started this #10

    @ anonymous I did this one back then..

    This morning I did 2/5 and it gave a very faint positive, not visible on the photo..
    So I think I can just have a glass of wine on New Year's Eve and then wait for my next cycle because I still haven't gotten my period either, so we'll just have to wait and see.

    If you're not getting your period and have light positive tests, I'd definitely avoid drinking alcohol. Wait until you have bleeding.
  11. Mommy32 started this #12

    No, that's true, but why are they so light? I got my period on November 17th, so it should be very positive by now, right?
  12. Orchidea #13

    Maybe a cycle got messed up..? Or you're very early in your pregnancy. Just to be safe, take another test and see if it's clearer than the day before. Same type of test, of course.
  13. Schuimpie #14

    If the 2-week-5 test is light positive, I’d definitely test again tomorrow or the day after and avoid alcohol. With my first pregnancy, I didn’t get a positive result until CD 41, and that pregnancy is now a 2.5-year-old girl! With a late ovulation, possibly combined with late implantation or slow hCG production, that’s totally possible.
    I’m also on CD 38 now, no period yet, and haven’t seen a positive test yet.

    At 2 weeks 5 days, if you weren't pregnant, you wouldn't see a faint line either. I'd take another test this morning, preferably an early detection one. If there's a faint line, I'd definitely avoid drinking alcohol.

    Did another test this morning, it didn't show up unfortunately..
    Don't know what to do now either, I think I'll just wait and see..
    But I'll test, I think I'll just wait until next week to test again if I haven't gotten my period because testing every time doesn't make me very happy either

    @schuimpie
    We use ovulation tests, so we knew last month when my ovulation was and the app showed it too..
    Yeah, I'm just not used to this hihi
    When I did a test with our daughter, it was so strongly positive that I didn't have to feel unsure at all, and now it's so different unfortunately

    When did you take a PO test according to your ovulation tests?

    If it stays positive, I'd assume you're pregnant. Call your doctor next week if you don't get your period.

    I think you're just pregnant. Keep using the 2/5 tests. That way you can see the difference when it comes. And those are the most reliable.

    @anoniem
    The weekend of the 25th of November I had a positive ovulation test in hand.
    Yes, today I did 2/5 again and it didn't show up, so I'm stopping testing for now until next week.
  19. Anonymous Guest #20

    I get it.

    If you had a positive OPK test on 25-11, you'd be a week late.

    You'd expect a clearer line then. It could go either way. I'd still call the clinic.

    No stomach pain?
