Irregular Cycle

I only just stopped the pill, but I've been on it since I was 12 because I had an irregular cycle. I'm already 2 weeks late and took a test last week, but it was negative. Is this related to my irregular cycle, and is there anything I can do about it?

    Hi girl..

That’s so frustrating with an irregular cycle!! It’s annoying not knowing exactly how or what! Maybe you could start using Etos Fertility.. If it works well, it should also help regulate your cycle a bit, and you’ll get vitamins that prepare your body for pregnancy! Good luck... Hope your MS stays in remission... Hope it helps you out! I didn’t have any issues with it myself, but there are surely more girls here who can definitely give you good tips!

    Love, Lynn

    Hey...
Thanks for the tip anyway. I'll go see the doctor tomorrow after all.
I just stopped taking the pill so I don't expect much, but secretly I hope I'm one of the few who gets pregnant right away.
Does the Etos pregnancy test also contain folic acid or do I need to keep taking it separately?

Yes, that's included too! So everything in 1 go. I found it really comfortable and hear from more girls that they had a good experience with it, even for their cycle! I think your body is really getting rid of the pills and sometimes that takes a bit of time! Weird how it all works! But maybe it'll just happen! You never know! Good luck, love Lynn

I had a regular cycle before I started the pill. I took the pill for about 13 years, and when I stopped, I had to wait 10 weeks for my period to come. After that, irregular cycles (33 and 37 days). So I think you just have to wait it out. The doctor won't do much if you've just stopped the pill... But who knows, it could also happen! Hope it works out for you! I'm also taking Etos Fertility and Evening Primrose capsules now. Hope that helps.

Okay, have you been trying for a long time? And what are evening primrose oil capsules? I'm also going to the doctor because I have a lot of stomach issues and my breath smells bad, but I'll mention that I'm 2 weeks overdue.

I stopped in June. After those 10 weeks, I waited for one more cycle (which was 33 days long) and then got started. So now I'm on round 2. Evening primrose oil capsules are also meant to regulate your cycle and reduce irritability caused by hormonal changes. Let's see if it helps. If my cycle gets even longer, I'll go see my GP after a while. I'll also look into Clomid (hormones to induce ovulation).
If you do go, you can definitely ask about it. Let me know what the doctor says.

According to the doctor, I should indeed wait a bit longer. It's possible that I am pregnant, but it's more likely that my hormones are still figuring out how to function on their own now. This can take 1 to 6 cycles. If it's still not regular after that, she can look further into it. So, just wait and see. She advised me to take another test in a week. I could also have a blood test, since it shows up faster in blood, but I'll wait a bit longer.
    Love,
