Babbles
No growth spurts, but suddenly not sleeping through the night anymore and wanting to feed much more often.

Hi ladies,
I hope someone can give me a bit of advice because I’m becoming so insecure and desperate about my almost 4-month-old baby (in 2 weeks).
She was already an easy baby from birth and started sleeping through the night fairly quickly. Yes, I know that’s not “normal,” but we’re just lucky. At 7 to 8 weeks old, she slept through the night and only needed 4 feeds per day.
Since she turned almost 3 months old, she suddenly needed a night feed again. That lasted for 2 weeks, so I thought it was just a growth spurt. After that, she slept through the night for a few more nights, but then the misery started again. Now she needs to drink every 4 hours, whether during the day or night. She’s asking constantly every 4 hours or even faster. She’s already getting larger bottles and often exceeds the maximum of 1L per day.
I really don’t know what’s going on with her, since she was so easy before and slept through the night, and now suddenly she wants to feed constantly. I’m not asking if she’ll sleep through the night for 12 hours again, but how can it be that she suddenly sleeps so poorly? Normally, the older they get, the easier it becomes, but with her, it’s the opposite. Does anyone have experience with this???
Oh yeah, during the day she often doesn’t finish her entire bottle, which means I sometimes have to feed her every 3 hours, and then she wants even more at night. So I assume she’s not getting too little, otherwise she’d always finish the bottle. She does have hidden reflux, I’m not sure if that’s playing a role. But she had that from the beginning when she was already sleeping through the night.
I hope someone can give me advice and tell me if this is normal.
I have an older daughter, but she was completely different. She just drank neatly.
