We love a Dutch, short & tough name for a daughter, but it's so hard to choose!

No doubt, Doris is the cutest.

I don't think you can make a wrong choice, although I don't find June very Old Dutch. I'd go for Guusje or Doris, with Doris as my preference!

I find June confusing; I'd pronounce it like "Djoen" in English, and in this list it seems more like "Juune" is intended. Because of the confusion, I wouldn't choose that one.
Doris, Wies, and Brechtje aren't really my thing.

Then Bente and Guusje are left for me. I don't really like names ending in -je, but I still find Guusje nice. I think Bente is really great.

Bente is great! It stays a beautiful, strong name!

Oh... I find Brechtje a bit tricky... Jos Brech... sorry, that just popped into my head and I wanted to share it with you. You probably don't want that association.
Guusje and Bente appeal to me the most from the list. Good luck with choosing!

Thank you so much for your responses, it's helpful to read how others think about it !

I really like Doris and Wies! I like Guusje too, although I'm less fond of names ending in 'je'.
June and Bente just seem ordinary to me, nothing special.. Brechtje isn't my style.

Brechtje or June, but then June pronounced as Joen, like you pronounce the month June in English.
