When can I start testing?

Had positive ovulation tests from October 29 to November 1, 2020, but I feel like my breasts are heavier, I have lower abdominal discomfort, and sometimes the feeling that my period is about to start.
I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative, but I think it might be too early. My period is due on November 15. When would be the best time to take a pregnancy test?

Well, I'd wait until at least Nov 13 or 14. Taking a test now is totally pointless! You just ovulated, so it's way too early to test at all. Good luck!

Yeah, I thought so, but I’m just naturally very impatient. But then I’ll wait a bit longer?

Usually, there's enough hCG for a test from 12 dpo onwards

Oh, so ovulation only happens when you're no longer testing positive?

A pregnancy test just 1 day after ovulation? That can obviously only be negative, a waste of money, but that's beside the point. Your egg probably released around October 31st / November 1st. Now you just have to wait 13 days. And that also depends on your LH. Wait calmly, and if necessary, only take a test at 12 dpo. Good luck with the wait... patience is very important when trying to conceive, unfortunately.

Ovulation 24-48 hours after a positive ovulation test

Your body can indeed play tricks on you, but if you had a positive ovulation test on 1-11, your ovulation was only today. You only start producing hCG after implantation, so after 5dpo. Your symptoms could also be related to ovulation

Oh, but I didn't know that you could get symptoms of that too, so I learned something new today. So it's indeed just calmly waiting and lighting a candle????

I know there's such a thing as ovulation bleeding and that you can get cramps, but I don't know much more than that

Definitely take it easy and don't stress yourself out too much. Being too focused on it isn't good either. Good luck with the wait!

Sam, your complaints definitely can't be from a pregnancy.
Yeah, a little flu, or stress.
