Hi mamas!
I have a 10-month-old son, and last week I got a positive test in my hand!
My partner and I had planned to start trying for a second baby towards the end of this year or early next year... but it happened faster than we expected.
We're excited about it, but we're curious about your experiences with two kids close in age (17 months apart).
What did you end up having to buy extra? What are your experiences with a double stroller?

Here, 18 months difference.
We bought a shelf for behind the stroller and a second stroller when we went out with the family.
Never had a double stroller! -

Here too 18 months difference. Found the first few years pretty tough, but now they're 3 & 4 and best buddies.
I used a baby carrier a lot, but the advantage for me was also that the oldest was already walking at 13 months. First while with a moreij plank, but honestly didn't find that ideal. Oldest kept stepping off it, but that will vary per child. After that had a Phil & Teds stroller with a seat you could attach underneath.
