Mave, Liva, Avy, or Ava

For brother Ian and sister Nova, we're looking for a tough, short, international girl's name that isn't too common.

    I wouldn't go with something ending in 'va', that sounds too much like the big sister! Otherwise, no real preference. Good luck

    I agree with Saartje. Then you're left with Mave and Avy.
    Mave: Is it pronounced Maave? Or Meef? If it's Meef, I'd go with the spelling Maeve.
    Avy: As you write it? Or in English as Evy?
    Maevy could also be an option.

    I'd rather go with Maeve instead of Mave.
    Liva is nice, but it looks too much like Nova.
    Avy feels weird; if you want that, go with Amy or Evi.
    Ava is cool!
