Can you see a line too, or am I going crazy? PART 2, THE OTHER ONE DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE...

Kimberley
Hi everyone!

I’m Kimberley and I’m new here on this forum, and there’s a reason for that:
I’ve been feeling under the weather for over a week now, feeling different, and it’s because I’m very nauseous in the mornings with a tendency to vomit, I have to pee a lot, my breasts seem to be growing (in my opinion and my boyfriend’s), I have twinges in my tummy, etc. etc.
Yesterday I did a Sensitest (photo attached) not with first morning urine but with the second urine, and now I think I saw a faint line appear. I just did a Kruidvat 2v5 test and here too I saw a line if you look closely. I’m not trying to get pregnant at all, so it’s not because I’m imagining things or something like that?
And if it is so, it’s of course very welcome!

I’m on the pill and always take 2 strips for 6 weeks, so I should be getting my period in a few days, but I’ve read that it doesn’t matter with testing because I’ve already ovulated and the period is artificial anyway. Despite all that, this test..
Now my question to you all: do you also see a line and could this mean I’m pregnant or could it be an evaporation line? I read a lot that with the Sensi it actually doesn’t happen and that they are actually accurate, and has anyone of you ever had that you really had to look for the line in the beginning but you were/were pregnant anyway?
Thanks in advance everyone!

Greetings Kimberley

For everyone who responded to my original post on the forum: Unfortunately, I can't see these messages anymore... That's why I'm posting this new one

They are quite faint lines. I would keep repeating the test and if they don't get darker, just call the GP
  3. Orchidea #4

I couldn't open page 2 either... how did it go? ;-)
  4. Susanna #5

    Nobody could open page 2

No, unfortunately not either, Orchidea... That's so weird! I tested again this morning, but it showed nothing at all. I was also confused about how long the test needed to stay in the urine, so it might have been a mistake this morning. I'll test again first thing tomorrow morning
  6. Orchidea #7

That's right, I did read that, hence the "also" haha!
  7. Orchidea #8

Clear, Kimberly. What a shame that it was blank. Tomorrow, indeed, read the instructions carefully and time it well. Evening urine can also be used (if you hold your urine for 2 hours) and may show results. It'll still be a bit tense then.

Maybe these are still drying out

Orchidea: then I can test tonight, but then I'd have to hold my pee for 2 hours, possibly?

Ananasje: Yeah, but that seems weird to me, because the line appeared before the read-time and then didn't appear again...

It's all so weird, or could a very early miscarriage be the reason, for example? Because I'd just read up on it and that's also an option, but that a line basically always means pregnant because you then have hCG in your body... And stories about first positive, then not, and still pregnant, it's crazy with those things

An early miscarriage? When was your period? I also had a clear second line in June, but nothing more the next day

Pineapple: That has to come yet since I was on the pill.. officially a few days off so I'm testing early but it feels so weird that there is a line...
  12. Babytje4 #13

Ahh here we are then, I couldn't open the second page either, wondered how it was now?

Amélie is quite uncertain unfortunately... The last test I did, I messed up and it was blank, so is it just negative or is that my own fault? I'm going to test again tonight or tomorrow!
  14. Susanna #15

Oh yeah, now I remember again. I should just keep repeating it because there really was a clear faint line within the reading time
  15. Orchidea #16

Yes Kimberly, that's definitely possible! You should definitely see a line when you're pregnant because your urine is concentrated after 2 hours.

Okay, that's totally fine! I'll check if I can manage it tonight, and if not, tomorrow morning. But I thought it was less accurate in the evening because you've had drinks and your urine is diluted...
Otherwise, I'll just do it tonight and tomorrow morning!
  17. Susanna #18

I'd do it tomorrow morning especially since you don't know when your ovulation was
  18. Kimberley started this #19

Yes exactly, it helps that I ordered it early enough haha, but everything feels so uncertain right now.. Especially if it really is like this, my boyfriend is a truck driver and he'll be back somewhere tomorrow night, if I know for sure then I can think of something fun to tell him, and otherwise you stay uncertain and I'll have to wait another week anyway
  19. Orchidea #20

I tested with morning urine myself, but also in the evening, and my test was clearer then than in the morning. Hence ;-) You can of course decide for yourself when, but I can imagine you're curious. But in principle, you can test at any time, as long as your urine is concentrated. So, if you hold your urine for a bit, that's enough. My tests were lighter in the morning!!
