Sex day after ovulation

Hi ladies,
Due to circumstances, we were only able to have sex this month the day after my ovulation. Egg on cycle day 14, sex on the morning of cycle day 15.
Theoretically, I know it’s possible (egg lives for 24 hours, right?), but has anyone here ever actually gotten pregnant from having sex after ovulation? I have a feeling this might be a lost round

Me, 1x sex that month because my husband had to go abroad before and after, and a beautiful son who's 2.5 now. It must have been around ovulation or the day after, but I think he had already passed if I go by the mucus and twinges in my belly.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm 100% sure about my egg, so it was really after that 
Of course, I don't know if he jumped in the morning or evening on day 14, since it could still be almost 24 hours apart, haha. But I hope it was just in time, haha. -

The sperm also need some time to reach the fallopian tubes. From what I understood from my gynecologist, it's better to have sex the day before ovulation than on the day itself, because timing has to be spot on. The chance gets even smaller the day after, but it's not impossible!
