Is this test positive or am I seeing it wrong?

This is a day for Nod, so I just tested and unfortunately it's not morning urine... I first thought it was negative but I'm not really sure where to look or if I'm looking in the right spot? I can see where the arrow is, there's a faint pink line, it's clearer in real life than in the photo but I can see it in the photo too... Should I see this as positive or am I looking in the wrong spot? Never had such a test strip before, I usually just used ones with a plus and minus sign or a cassette.

    That's just the end of the test strip; the test line appears much earlier. Sorry!

    How silly that there's a line there too... Is it normal to test negative 1 day before? I'm starting to worry now... I have absolutely no symptoms that my period is coming; normally I feel it very strongly a few days before.

    Maybe the urine is pooling there? Some people only test 1 week after a positive nod, so as long as there's no period yet, there's still hope, I'd say.

    The test line should be closer to the purple control line. So this one is negative, unfortunately.

    No, unfortunately, you have to consider this negative. The line should always be in the correct position. Unfortunately, this is a urine buildup.
