Nice chat
after a miscarriage
caroline
Hi,
I had a miscarriage (a gestational sac without an embryo) and had a D&C done. (Nov 6) After that, I barely had any bleeding. The doctor said I had to come back for a check-up after 2 weeks. I wanted to ask him for the pill during that appointment (because I actually wanted a baby in a certain period and if I were pregnant now it wouldn't fit - not that it's a problem, but it was planned that way in my head.)
I haven't seen the gynecologist yet but I haven't had my period for almost a month, or so I think. About 10 days after the D&C I had a little bit of bleeding for 1 day. Mostly brown discharge. Was that my period or could it already be implantation? Because now I'm a bit scared, if I am pregnant (maybe very early) then I shouldn't ask for the pill anymore. Could the gynecologist already detect a pregnancy even if it's very early? Or maybe it was just my period but it feels so weird because I used to have a lot of bleeding for a day like the 4th.
Does anyone have some advice?
Best,
Caroline
