Hi! I'm pregnant with a girl (already past 30 weeks) and we're still debating between a few names. Can you help us out? Which name do you like the most if you have to choose? No need for new suggestions anymore We love retro, old-fashioned names. That's why we also named our son Dirk.
The names we're debating between are:
Loes
Wies
Fiep
Sien
Keet

Thanks!

I think the choice really depends on whether you live in NL or BE.
Because some names sound a bit weird to me (as a Belgian) haha.
    I really like Loes!

Loes or Sien I find quite funny, Fiep and Wies feel a bit too quirky to me with the down-to-earth Dirk. With Keet, I always think of a construction shed, I think the spelling Kate is much nicer, but then there's less Dutch about it Good luck!

I think Sien is the cutest....

I'm a fan of Fiep! It also goes well with Dirk, I think.

    Sien

I think Wies is the cutest from your list (spicy and sweet), and then Loos, although I find that one a bit more ordinary.
Keet reminds me of a shed or a drinking spree, honestly.
With Sien, people will always make jokes about 'Ot', but I still think the name itself is quite nice.
Good luck with your choice! I'm curious what it'll be.

If I have to choose, I'd go with Loes. I think it also suits Dirk best.

Hi everyone! We're going with Loes! Thanks for the help.
For those who are curious, her full name will be; Loes Liselotte Margot.
    Greetings,
    MamaVanDirk (and almost of Loes!)
