Gender and sex position

It’s often said that there’s a connection between the sexual position, the number of days before ovulation you had sex, and the baby’s sex.
What I’ve heard is that, for example, the missionary position leads to a girl, and you get a boy with deep penetration like doggy style. Also, having sex a few days before ovulation is said to result in a girl, while having sex around the time of ovulation leads to a boy.

Is this all true?
How many days before ovulation did you have sex, resulting in conception, and what sexual position did you use? And what sex did your baby turn out to be?

Curious Lady, this has nothing to do with influencing the gender, I'm afraid
The gender is determined by the chromosomes that are passed on.

I read this question with some surprise!
    Is this serious?
I'd say; getting pregnant is a miracle in itself, what does the gender matter then?

    This is funny.... hehe

Indeed, haha. You're already happy just because you're pregnant whether it's a boy or a girl... what does it matter? You're not going to the store to pick one out, right? Hihi

Yes indeed! And as long as it comes into the world healthy. Boy or girl doesn't matter anyway

    Exactly, ladies!

That's what they say, indeed. For example, with a boy, it's supposedly helpful if the man penetrates deeply because boy cells would be slower. Oh, no idea if it's true. There's a lot to read about it on Google, so if you're curious ;-)

I don't really believe in that, haha. With both of them, we did it every day in the missionary position and around ovulation First one is a girl and the second will be a boy.
And with 4 miscarriages, the gender really doesn't matter to me, as long as he is born healthy, just like our daughter.

The theory behind it is that female X sperm swim slower on average but can survive longer in the body, while male Y sperm swim faster on average but don't survive as long.
Keep in mind, the key word is average. So there are no 100% guarantees. There might be faster girls among them or boys who survive better, and only one is needed at the egg.
This means the chance of having a girl is higher a few days before the expected ovulation, and the chance of having a boy is slightly higher on the day of ovulation.
However, you usually don't know exactly when your ovulation is; there can be a few days' difference from month to month.
The only position that is really said to increase the chance of pregnancy in general is if the woman lies on her back and places a pillow under her hips after intercourse to keep them slightly elevated so that most of the sperm doesn't immediately leak out and has the chance to reach the egg or at least the uterus and fallopian tubes to wait for the egg's arrival.

Not the most glamorous position, but it supposedly increases the chance of pregnancy in general.
