Quick peak in a long cycle

Hi everyone,
My partner and I are trying to conceive our first baby. Exciting! I had an IUD for 10 years and it was removed in March. We only started trying from early July. I'm tracking my cycle with Sensitest ovulation tests. My cycle seemed to last 35 days over the past few months.
July 1st was day 1 of my cycle. So according to my calculations and the app, my fertile days should be between the 17th and the 23rd.
To get a better idea, I started the ovulation tests much earlier and already had a very clear peak on the 13th.
Does this mean I missed my ovulation for this month? And is it normal to have your LH peak so early in your (long) cycle?
Thanks for your help!

Exciting! I think it’s possible, but usually, you ovulate about two weeks before your period starts. I mainly pay attention to my discharge and can feel when I ovulate too. With a positive test, it can take 24-48 hours for your egg to actually release.

And whether you missed him last month, you know best! If you have sex every other day, you can’t miss him!
