Boy's name

DORIS35
Hi ladies,
I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with a boy.
This is our third child. We already have a son and a daughter.
I'm really torn between the names Casper and Daan.
Which name do you prefer?
Thanks in advance!!

It depends. Daan is nice, but it's quite common. With Daan, I picture a sweet, quiet, shy little boy. Casper, on the other hand, you hardly ever hear. With Casper, I picture a smooth, tough guy
With the nice one, but I'd go for Casper.

I like both names, I'm curious what the brother and sister are called, maybe there's a name that fits better with them.

I think Daan is much prettier than Casper!
But as already mentioned, maybe one name fits better with the rest than the other.
So I'm also curious what the brother and sister are called.

    Thanks for the replies!
Brother is F.loris and sister is L.ieke.

For F.loris and L.ieke, I'd definitely go with Casper. Daan is quite short with the other two!

I think Casper is the cutest of the two...

With Casper, I really have to think about the ghost. Maybe also because I was a huge fan as a kid.
Daan seems much nicer to me.

Casper! I like it more with a brother and sister.

Both are nice. I think Daan fits better for the brother and sister haha! But I also like Casper!

Tricky.. I'm also hesitating about the name Daan because of its popularity.. We only know a few people with this name, and they're further away.. but still, it feels a bit overused because of how common it is.. but it's such a beautiful name.. really tough. What's your experience with popular names? Does it influence your choice? Or not?

We deliberately chose a name outside the top 50, so our daughters are likely to be the only ones in their class with that name. And unfortunately, now they're becoming more popular
