Ovulation bleeding

Are there any moms here who have experience with ovulation bleeding? Because on Wednesday I lost a few drops of blood. Yesterday was completely nothing. But now, today my ovulation test is positive. While everywhere on the internet I read that such bleeding usually happens only after the egg has already been released. The stomach pain is also almost gone, only now and then a little stab while I had quite bad cramps over the past 2 days.
And now the test was just positive, so I should assume that my ovulation was on Saturday or Sunday, right?

Hey Sophia, I actually had the same thing happen to me this month. I'd never had an ovulation bleed before. I have a 26-day cycle and ovulate around CD12 or CD13. I know this because I used ovulation tests for the past few months, and once I figured out roughly when my ovulation was, I stopped using the tests. This round, I had very light spotting on CD8 and CD9, really quite little, and it came with a bit of cramping. I've never experienced this before. I always thought ovulation bleeding happened after ovulation, so I asked my question on another pregnancy forum, and there I was told that an ovulation bleed can occur both before and after ovulation. -

Thanks for your message. So, that bleeding could indeed be from ovulation. I've never had it before either. I wonder if that's a good or bad sign... Or if it doesn't matter at all for fertility. Do you already know if this cycle was a success for you?
