What do you think is a prettier name and why?

    Julia, just such a beautiful name. We didn't end up using it because it was already at #1 when our daughter was born. Both are lovely names; I'd go with Roos or Rosa over Rosie.

    Both are lovely, I'd go for Rosie myself because it's a bit less common.

    Personally, I think Roos is prettier than Rosie. I'd just make it Roos.
    And if I really had to choose between Julia and Rosie, I'd go for Rosie, but then I'd use Roos as a nickname.
    Julia is very nice, one of my nieces is called that, but it's quite popular.

    I don't think Rosie is that pretty. Rosa is super.
    Julia is a good name.

    I agree with Anouk Rosa, also very nice but I think Roos is the nicest.

    Roos was on the list for my third daughter, but my husband didn't think it was pretty. Jasmijn was also on the list, and luckily he liked that one, so it became Jasmijn

    I don't think Rosie is beautiful.
    Then I think Roos is more beautiful.
    So I'll go for Julia, I find that a bit nicer.

    Julia. I also think Roos or Rosa is beautiful, not so much Rosie. I think that name is pronounced quite plainly in the Netherlands.

    I think Rosie is such a lovely name, especially since you rarely hear it indeed.
