Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
Ovulation tests and temperatures
Hi everyone,
Could someone take a quick look for me? I'm a bit confused.
I always thought (maybe this is just how it is) that I have a luteal phase of 14 days.
But I've started doubting that since the weekend.
On Saturday night I had a negative ovulation test – at least it was darker than usual but still not positive (2BS).
Sunday morning (6:15) I got the usual smiley face, and the 2BS test was also darker for a moment. So my ovulation was coming up. However, on Sunday afternoon I had egg pain that lasted into the night, and this morning my temperature had risen by 0.1. I always thought I had ovulated when my temp hit 36.7, and then it rises 0.1 degrees daily until it reaches 36.9 or 37.00. Now I'm wondering: do I actually have a 14-day luteal phase? Or is it maybe shorter, and has my ovulation always been a bit later than I thought? I've attached a photo – would someone mind checking if I've got it right... If I assume ovulation happens when I have a temp of 36.7, then ovulation occurred less than 12 to 14 hours after the positive ovulation test (while they say you can expect ovulation between 24 and 48 hours after a positive test). If I look at my temp chart and the temperatures, maybe I recorded my ovulation too early, and my luteal phase is not 14 but 11 or 12 days...
Can someone help me figure this out? ;-)
Love
