Navel piercing

Has anyone here had experience with a belly button piercing and a growing belly? We're currently "renovating" for a baby, but I was wondering if I should take out my belly button piercing once it gets to that point, or are there other options to keep it?

    Hi Nicki, I normally have a navel piercing too, for 10 years now..
    But I took mine out because my belly is really tight..
    There is a possibility to keep your piercing in like a longer flexible barbell. (you can definitely find that at your piercer!)
    I didn't do this because it's quite annoying in your clothes etc so how do I solve it I stick my piercing through once a week so my hole stays open.
    now I have them for a long time and it doesn't close up so fast anymore.. so if you want to do this too you have to see how your piercing hole closes.. otherwise you have to go through it every other day or every day...
