Postpartum period

Help! I had a C-section for our second baby. I was so looking forward to the little one’s arrival. But now that I’m home, it doesn’t feel so great. I don’t have that pink-cloud feeling, and I often wonder why I even wanted this.
Our first child is super sweet and caring, but also very active and constantly testing boundaries. The newborn is content, sleeping well, and feeding well.
But being a mom leaves me completely drained. I’d forgotten how tough the recovery from a C-section can be. Because of that, I can barely support my partner, and that’s really weighing on me. I want to be helpful again and feel like my old self instead of being in so much pain, spending most of my time on the couch or in bed.
Does anyone relate to this? Or does anyone have tips on how to cope?
I don’t want to keep crying all the time…
