Ovulation test positive?

Hi everyone,Can someone tell me if this ovulation test is positive?
I got my first period on May 6th after having the Mirena removed and I want to get a bit more insight into my cycle. I first used the Clearblue ovulation tests for 4 fertile days, but that confused me a bit because I had a flashing smiley for 8 days in a row, while the Etos dip sticks barely showed any line. Now the Clearblue sticks ran out, and when I tested today with the Etos dip sticks, I got the result below. Is this positive?

He looks pretty positive, because usually they're positive if the test line is just as dark or darker than the control line. But it's even clearer to do the same test every day and assess the progression. You should then be able to clearly see it going up and down, if all goes well. I didn't find those smiley tests pleasant either. Nothing for ages and then suddenly a smiley, never seeing anything blink. That made me feel insecure again.
I always stuck them one under the other so I could clearly see the progression. -

That line is indeed almost as dark, so that's a good sign. I understand that those Clearblue tests weren't great; I didn't like them either. You just need to be patient, every cycle is different after the Mirena. If you're unsure about the result or your cycle, it's wise to contact the family planning clinic for advice.
