Should I use an ovulation test or not?

Hi everyone,

Since early March, I've stopped using contraception because I'm trying to conceive.

We had unprotected sex for the first time in May. My cycle isn't quite regular yet, I think. Last month I had a 24-day cycle, and before that, I couldn't really calculate it because it was the first one after taking the pill for years.

I've been reading a lot online about ovulation tests and how to tell when you're fertile yourself. I haven't done any ovulation tests yet. Do you recommend them?

My last period started on May 6th, and I had unprotected sex for the first time on May 16th. If I calculate that, it's definitely one of my fertile days in a 24-day or 28-day cycle. So I'm impatiently waiting to see if I'll get my period soon.

Have you ever gotten pregnant from the first time? We haven't had sex more than once a week though.

I track my cycle using the Flo app.

I can't really talk to anyone about it, so I hope to learn more here on the forum.

Lots of love, Sarah

You can always come and chat in the NOD groups.
I'm also in my first round By the way, I'm not the only one who just started, so feel free to join! We also only hang out once a week, so I'm eagerly waiting too My last period started on May 5th, so we're roughly on the same track
By the way, I do use ovulation tests. Since we don't get intimate that often, we definitely don't want to miss the right day!

    Hi Line,
If I weren't pregnant right now, I think I'd go get some ovulation tests. Do you recommend a specific brand? How can I join one of those little groups?
