Aiko; do it or not

Time is running out and we still don't have a girl's name for our first child. The name Aiko (Japanese, meaning little love) keeps coming up in our heads. What do you think? Pretty or not? Too unusual or just nice?

How do you pronounce it? Aj-ko or A-ie-ko?
I've never heard of it before. I think the meaning is nice, but not the sound. I also thought when I read the title that it was a boy's name. Did you have any other options? If it keeps coming back to your mind, maybe it's just the name for you. I think people will look at you a bit surprised the first time you say the name, but hey, everything gets used to! Good luck

I think it's beautiful. But I had also come up with a Chinese name with ai (love) in it. Not that I gave it to anyone, but I would still like to.

Aiko (little love). I think it's very original and super beautiful.

I initially thought it was a boy's name too... That's probably because I grew up with someone nearby named Acko.. But the more I say it in my head, the more I like it..

I also think it's more for a boy. Why not Aika?
