We’re big fans of classic Dutch names and are looking for a beautiful name for our second child, our first boy. Which one do you all like best? We’re curious! Our big sister is called Fiep, full name Fiep Jolie. Our son’s middle name will be either Maxim or Julius. The last name is 'van den Brink'.

Nice name Fiep, something different from Fien or Fiene! As for the name for your son; I think they all sound quite old-Hollandish, but Duuk somehow doesn't fit. Even though it might be a fairly old-fashioned name, it sounds modern to the ear. The cutest combinations I find are Fiep and Boet and Fiep and Tuur.

What a lovely name your daughter has!
I like Tuur and Toon the most; I could choose those myself.
Boet is a fine name, but not as good as the ones mentioned above.
I personally don't like Duuk and Krijn.
    Good luck with choosing!

I think Toon is the best. Then Duuk or Tuur. But I think the other two are nothing.

Your friend's son is named Krijn. Super cute! Krijn Julius sounds great too!

I think Kryn is the most beautiful name! Really super! I don't think Duuk is that nice...

I couldn't vote at all, not my taste. If you like Dutch names, Tijn would also be nice.

We see that Tuur and Krijn are the most popular in the votes. Which of those do you like the most? And in combination with Fiep?

I think Fiep Jolie and Krijn Julius are the cutest name and the absolute best combination. (As Pien also pointed out) that sounds nice...
I also think Fiep and Tuur look nice, but the combination Tuur Julius or Tuur Maxim doesn't appeal to me that much... Hence my vote for Krijn.

I'd go for Toon! But maybe that's because I have a Teun myself.
