Lux of Lewis

Hi! Our son Jones will be 2 months old soon, and we're expecting a little brother. We're stuck between two names: Lux feels tough and fits us perfectly, but Lewis goes so nicely with Jones and has cute nicknames. I just can't decide. Which one do you like best?

Hi, our son Jones is getting a little brother in 2 months. We're torn between two names. Lux is tough and fits us, but Lewis goes well with Jones and has cute nicknames. I just can't decide. Which one do you like best?

I thought the exact same thing. I think Lux is nicer, but Lewis fits better. I'd still go with Lux. The names will naturally match perfectly!

I think Jones and Lux sound super cool together! I'd go with Lux!

I'd go for Lux! I think it's a cooler name. And I think you like it more yourself too.

I often see people matching their kids' names, but that's not necessary at all . They're two separate little people. If it really clashes, you can take that into account, but Lux fits perfectly with Jones!!

    Lux!

Lewis, but I wouldn't call my child by physical units either, so no Lux, Watt, Ampere, etc.

Personally, I think very few people associate Lux with anything physics-related. I only know it as a "common" name!

Haha, no indeed! I know watt and ampere, but lux is really a normal name to me.

Well, personally I know quite a few of those terms, but hey, then you can do it.
I think Lux (Lumen could also work) is a made-up name, not a common one :-)

Ah, I didn't realize we're dealing with a brilliant person . I, being less brilliant, hear him more and more as a name and almost chose it myself. It must be my lack of intellect .
